Along with being an exceptional player, Surya Kumar Yadav Car Collection is also unique. His interest in cars has also led to him being the co-owner of a Mumbai-based vehicle detailing shop called ‘The Detailing Studio’. Suryakumar announced the partnership on Instagram.
The middle-order batsman played a significant role in India’s 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup win. He became the first batter from India to win Player of the Match in the Super 8 match against Afghanistan.

Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d:
SKY’s luxury car collection includes a luxurious Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d. The car has rightfully been dubbed the S-Class’ of SUVs for its ability to provide remarkable comfort and performance.
SKY sent the car to be customized at The Detailing Studio directly after his purchase. The car’s entire body received an application of the LLumar Valor PPF kit, while the windows were covered with clear heat-rejection film. The car’s sunroof and windscreen were covered with Stek DYNOflex protection.
The Mercedes-Benz GLS 400d price in India is INR 1.32–1.37 crore. SKY is reported to have paid INR 2.55 crore for his, as it seems to have an AMG kit installed as well as other custom bits. The GLS 400d features a 2.9-litre twin-turbo diesel engine with 48V mild-hybrid technology. The car is a perfect blend of luxury, style, and comfort.

Nissan Jonga:
Surya Kumar was one of the few lucky owners of a Nissan Jonga. The retired military vehicle was completely restored and customised for the cricketer. His modified car was equipped with 35-inch Rocktrak tubeless off-road tires, steel hub caps painted neon green, and wing mirrors with built-in side cameras. The pickup truck also got a heavy-duty bumper and brand-new LED headlamps before it joined the Surya Kumar Yadav Car Collection.
The Jonga is frequently mistaken for the Nissan 1-ton, another military vehicle that was in use around the same time. Both were later replaced by Mahindra MM540 Jeeps.
Surya Kumar stated on Instagram that the green Jonga isn’t his anymore. SKY isn’t the only Indian cricketer to own a retired military vehicle; MS Dhoni owns a fully modified green Nissan 1-ton, also called the Nissan 4W73. Both vehicles are extremely rare to come by in good condition; most have been modified in some way or suffered heavy damage.

Surya Kumar Yadav Car Collection includes a BMW XM. The XM is a 5-seat SUV. It gets a 4395 cc twin-turbo V8 petrol engine and produces 653 bhp power and 800 Nm of torque. The BMW XM price in India starts at INR 3.08 crore.
Range Rover Velar:
The Range Rover line comprises the Range Rover, the Range Rover Sport, the Range Rover Velar, and the Range Rover Evoque. The Range Rover Velar has a reliable SUV build, sleek looks, and a modern, minimalistic cabin loaded with features. It is a premium addition to Surya Kumar Yadav Car Collection.
This spacious car comes in a 2.0-liter petrol and diesel variant. The Range Range Velar price in India is INR 87.90. The Velar is available with a 2.0-liter Ingenium petrol or diesel engine. The diesel engine generates 204 horsepower and 430 Nm, while the petrol one produces 250 horsepower and 365 Nm. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds and features a mild hybrid system.
Mini Cooper S:
It’s compact, it’s vintage, and it’s mini. This little car is small in size but offers a huge amount of comfort and luxury. The Mini Cooper S makes a unique addition to Surya Kumar Yadav Car Collection due to its unique specifications.
It is small and takes up less space on congested city streets. Moreover, it’s a Mini-Cooper, and its luxurious interiors beat those of any other compact car on the market. The old version of the Mini Cooper S was discontinued in 2019, but the latest facelifted version is expected to launch in India in 2024. Skoda Superb:
The Skoda Superb has been an immensely popular sedan in India. Suyakumar Yadav bought a white Skoda Superb and gifted it to his parents. SKY is speculated to have paid anywhere between INR 34 and INR 37 lakh for it. However, this model has now been discontinued due to strict emission norms.

Porsche 911 Turbo:
SKY’s luxury car collection includes a Porsche 911 Turbo convertible. This car gets a 4.0-liter twin-turbopetrol engine that generates 641 bhp power and 800 Nm peak torque. The Porsche gets automatic transmission and has a top speed of 330 kmph. It can go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 2.7 seconds.
